Mumbai: The Board of Control for Cricket in India has released the complete schedule of the Indian Premier League 2023. This time all the matches on the league stage will be played in Mumbai and Pune. In total there will be 74 league matches and four playoff matches. These matches will last for a total of 58 days. The first match of the 16th season will be played on 1 April. Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders teams will face each other at the Wankhede Stadium.

The league’s first doubleheader will take place on 2 April. Delhi Capitals will face Mumbai Indians at the Lebron Stadium. And the teams of Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore will face off at the DY Patil Stadium. The first match will be played in Maharashtra Cricket Association Pune on 2 April when Sunrisers Hyderabad and PBKS will take on each other.

A total of 20 matches will be played at Wankhede Stadium and DY Patil Stadium. There will be 15 matches each in Brabov and Pune. In total there will be 12 doubleheaders. In this, the first match will be held at 3:30 pm and the evening match will start at 7:30 pm.

The last match of the league will be between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings on 22 May. This match will be played at Wankhede Stadium. The schedule for the playoffs and final will be released later. The final is to be played on May 29.
